211117ausbildungNew education and training program for 2022

The training and further education program of the Siegen-Wittgenstein District Sports Association for 2022 offers interesting qualification opportunities at all license levels for training supervisors, club boards or interested athletes. The program now presented should be particularly exciting for newcomers to the trainer and exercise leader business: After the Sporthelfer I training courses in January and February in Siegen and in Bad Laasphe, respectively, the KSB, in cooperation with the Kreissportbund Olpe, offers the Sporthelfer II training course at the end of June in Feldberg in the Black Forest.

As usual, there will be two courses for the C-license for trainers in the coming year, most of which will be held in person, but some of which will also be held online. The advanced training offers for ÜL-C-Lizenzinhaber reaches again from experience pedagogy over the topic movement and language in the sport and leisure range or sport and nutrition up to the alcohol prevention in the association. In addition, important social issues are also addressed in the new qualification program - and financially supported. Courses such as "Racism in Sport," "Protection against Sexualized Violence in Sport," and "Seriousness is Just Fun - But How to Show Attitude" can therefore be booked free of charge by participants.

The increasingly important area of rehabilitation sport is being addressed by the district sports association with a further training course in the "Internal Medicine" profile. Here, too, a number of interesting advanced training courses are offered for license holders, ranging from fall prophylaxis to the "health package in cardiac sports", the topic of "keeping joints mobile" and the "ISG and piriformis syndrome".
The practical sports part in the area of movement promotion is rounded off with advanced training courses on the "Motorik Plus" program, which enables movement analysis in young children, and the "Line Dance for Children" course.

In addition to the advanced licensing training courses, the format of the "short-and-good" seminars, which provide information on relevant topics in entertaining units with four learning sessions during the week, has proven successful. In 2022, the topics covered will include prevention of sexualized violence, exclusion, membership recruitment, financial management and association law.

The certificate training courses in the area of club management, which are offered in cooperation with the Kreissportbund Olpe, will also be continued. Planned are the modules "association and strategy development" as well as "project companion", which will take place partly on-line partly in presence.

"We are of course pleased to be able to offer sports clubs and license holders such a packed qualification program despite the still tense Corona situation," says Ottmar Haardt, 1st Chairman of the Siegen-Wittgenstein District Sports Association. "Quite independently of Corona, good educational offers in volunteer-organized sport are existentially important for our clubs." The fact that current socially relevant topics are addressed is also an important concern for the Kreissportbund, he said. "Problems such as alcohol addiction, racism and sexualized violence do not stop at sports," Haardt concluded. "We offer clubs the opportunity to get in shape to deal with these issues."

As of now, the offers can be viewed and booked via the KSB website, www.ksb-siwi.de.
